The Weifang Municipal Government of Shandong, China is recruiting for the upcoming 21st International Kite Festival.

As the special event for the 21st Kite Festival, they are recruiting 60 ladies representing their own nations for Miss World Kite Competition starting on April 15, 2004. and Aug 2004.

They provide free trip and free tour to China for two weeks, plus the award up to $20,000.00 US dollars.

General requirement:

1. Female gender.
2. Aged from 18 to 28 years old (born between February 1, 1976 and February 1, 1986).
3. Height of at least 165 cm.
4. University Degree (educational background requirements may be waved in special circumstances).
5. In Good Health (body and mind).
6. Able to fill the role of Miss Kite, if wins such an award (travel, act as spokesperson, attend special events, etc.).
7. Not convicted or under suspicion of any crimes.
8. All the contestants must have a passionate love of life, a sincere desire for peace, and believe in the concept of "global village".
